Prior to becoming a licensed attorney on November 5, 2015, Mr. Levitt attended DePaul University both as an undergraduate student, where he attained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics, and as a law student, where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in May of 2015.

After taking the Illinois Bar Exam, Mr. Levitt worked as an associate attorney at a firm specializing in federal criminal defense. At that firm, Mr. Levitt worked on myriad federal criminal matters, primarily those involving allegations of terrorism and fraud, as well as drug offenses, attorney disciplinary proceedings, extortion, identity theft, criminal OSHA violations and appellate and post convictions matters.

Mr. Levitt also served as a law clerk in the felony trial division of the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, where he was able to try cases and otherwise represent indigent defendants in all manner of felony cases.
