I have practiced law for 20 years. I have a great deal of experience in criminal law, international law and tax law. I also handle certain immigration matters.

My practice centers on criminal defense. I handled hundreds of cases for the Public Defender, having taken dozens of cases to trial. I have achieved many not guilty verdicts and can say with confidence that in all of my cases I improved the final result for my client, usually dramatically.

I handled all kinds of criminal cases:

Misdemeanors – DUIs, reckless driving, petty theft, trespassing, simple vandalism, simple assault and battery, shoplifting, being under the influence of a controlled substance – you name it, I’ve handled it. Felonies – gang charges, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with great bodily injury, weapons charges, felony DUIs, auto theft, sex cases, child pornography, drug charges of all kinds from simple possession to sales. Juvenile – I handled the full range of juvenile delinquency cases, including robberies, assaults, auto theft, sex cases, and so forth.

I have completed specialized courses in Drunk Driving Defense, Juvenile Defense, Trial Techniques, and others.

I also have a great deal of experience in tax, contracts and international export-import deals.

I speak Spanish and Russian.
