Trey Sargent earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma (2010), and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law (2013). While attending law school, Trey worked within the Environmental Practice Group of the oldest law firm in the State of Oklahoma where he gained experience in underground storage tank litigation, water rights litigation, and appellate practice. Trey also learned municipal, contract, and real estate law while working in the Civil Division of the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office.

Trey is licensed to practice in all Texas Courts.

Trey was born and raised in Denton, and is a seventh generation resident of Denton County. He is a graduate of Billy Ryan High School (2005). Trey is an Eagle Scout and remains active in the Boy Scouts of America as a volunteer. Trey’s other community service activities include active membership in the Denton Rotary Club, and support of the Denton Public School Foundation.
