Practice Areas

Thomas J. Williams earned his law degree in 1973 and worked four years as a Deputy District Attorney before joining the firm in 1977. A shareholder since 1985, Mr. Williams focuses his practice on civil litigation, and also has significant experience in the area of family law.

Professional Activities

Mr. Williams is a member of, and past Delegate to, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as a member of the PBA Civil Litigation and Family Law Sections. He is a past President of the Cumberland County Bar Association and currently a Master of the Cumberland County Inns of Court. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Education

Since graduating from Temple University School of Law in 1973 Mr. Williams has attended numerous Continuous Legal Education programs each year.

Community Activities

Mr. Williams is a past Chairman of the Cumberland County United Way Campaign, past chairman of the Cumberland County Chapter of the American National Red Cross, past President of the Carlisle Rotary Club and past President of the Carlisle Early Education Center.
